Become a Member Membership to the International Bonhoeffer Society – English Language Section is open to anyone who is interested in studying the life and works of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. The society is comprised of clergy from various denominations and faith backgrounds, students, historians, professors, political scientists, theologians, writers and persons interested in ecumenism, and the application of Bonhoeffer’s life and writings to current affairs. The society is presently comprised of members from the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Brazil, United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, France, The Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Poland, Portugal, Hungary, Slovak Republic, Czechoslovakia, Italy, South Africa, Zambia, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, India, Malaysia, Korea and The Philippines. Membership dues are $30 per year. All members receive the Newsletter and are entitled to full membership benefits, including participation at the annual meeting, which is held concurrently with the annual meeting of the American Academy of Religion in November.
